Please find below the job description. *Role: *GIS Support Engineer/Manager/SM *Location*: South Plainfield, NJ *Duration: *Contract *Required Technologies:* • ESRI GIS Products • Wireless communication domain expertise • Energy & Utility Domain Knowledge • Oracle, SQL Server *Job Description:* • Evaluate and respond to issues, findings, open items and requests originating internally and externally from the organization • Process system data and perform daily data and system QA • GIS feature and table editing and data updates in a multi-user editing environment • Update and monitor client’s GIS data and reports; ensuring accuracy and reliability of the system. • Must maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG business controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal controls • Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity • Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices. • Coordinate and oversee field construction related to utility wireless communication infrastructure expansions, modifications, & maintenance • Evaluate and document engineering and construction standards • Implement system process and solutions. Ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient day to day management, monitoring and support of all interrelated business systems and processes • Must maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG business controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal controls • Nice to have experience with AMI / DA network deployment *Preferred Skills:* • Self-directed, with a high level of initiative for setting strategic focus and vision • Strong demonstrated knowledge of Electric and Gas distribution systems • Strong understanding of telecommunication systems, GIS, SAP, or wireless systems • Working knowledge of mesh communication network technologies. • Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing large datasets (Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, or similar) • Strong analytical skills.
