I installed freerunner-v11.jffs2 (converted into sdcard partition installation)*
(I had a hard time to manage to have andnav2 working again... first I had kept my previous data, and I had some weird crashes, then reinstalled from scratch, trying older versions... never really understood what were the problems :-p Finally could have latest andnav2 nightly build installed....) -> I can get GPS fix and sat infos, Andnav2 tracking works, and YGPS too. Deactivating GPS in settings seems to correctly shut down GPS (fix is lost and have to be reaquired on reactivation). But it can be disturbing that (when GPS is activated in settings) : - launching application (andnav or YGPS) starts GPS, but when you quit (via "back" button, not "home"), it stops GPS. So if you launch again the application (even immediatly), you have to wait to get again a fix (cold start)... - GPS status indication icon monitor sometimes is wrong (but sometimes ok). I once had quit all GPS applications, so lost my fix, but icon stayed, unblinking (as if positionning was ok). YGPS indicated no satellite in view (cold start...), but in andnav, position indicator was shown, as if there was a fix, but at the last known position (usually it disapears when fix is not here yet, but can stay idle for a temporary fix lost -tunnel...-) * about sdcard installation : what is wrong with init.rc (modified by the convertion script) ? /sdcard is not created and you have to create it manually for sdcard partition to be mounted... _______________________________________________ android-freerunner mailing list [email protected] http://android.koolu.org/listinfo.cgi/android-freerunner-koolu.org
