Thanks for pointing that out. I had thought of that yesterday, and it
makes moving it to call init and call teardown an even better idea.

It is possible to do it. At least that's what Qtopia is doing right
now
and it works.
Qtopia had the issue that echo was cancelled only for outgoing calls.
Sending the cancel command before incomming call fixed this. See this
