Dear Shashank:
It's very confused to me about 2nd ways.
After building Koolu Code, it will create uImage, *.img files
(kernel.img、ramdisk.img、system.img、userdata.img) and I can
use the script file(from http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/
Android_porting#Building_the_Koolu_Android_Source) to create
rootfs(.jffs2) file.
Do you mean I need to rename uImage to uImage-GTA02.bin to
put /boot directory in vfat filesystem on the SD-Card, and put
all *.img files in ext2/3 filesystem, and boot from SD-Card of XOR
, right?
Because in the first time, I follow the procedure: "Installing
Android on the Internal Flash, Method 1: Koolu Automatic
Installation"(http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Android_on_Freerunner)
to update "Koolu Beta 7 Release", it works well and it installers
the Qi bootloader in NAND. So do the same when I want to flash
new kernel and rootfs.
BTW, does it not to get uImage from Koolu Code to flash?
Do I separate to get kernel file from Installer(
http://android.koolu.org/
pipermail/android-freerunner-koolu.org/2009-June/000919.html)
and get those *.img files from Koolu-1.0(http://trac.koolu.org/)
, right?
Regard,
Alan
