Hi Tom,

I've been having the same problem (when I was playing around with Android)
and was able to resolve it based on the following post on the Koolu forum:

http://android.koolu.org/pipermail/android-freerunner-koolu.org/2009-July/00
1125.html

To summarise, use following layout on your SDCard:

mmcblk0p1, Primary, vfat, 8MB
mmcblk0p2, Primary, ext2, 502.14MB (or ext3)

The files on these paritions should be:

on mmcblk0p1:

uImage.bin

on mmcblk0p2:

kernel.img
md5sums
qi.img
ramdisk.img
system.img
uImage
uImage.bin
userdata.img

The files are all on the root, no subdirectories.

For those other people out there suffering the same problem, the file layout
from Teodor works fine.

to make it short:

1)partition msd-card into fat16 & ext3 (1<>5 ration !?)
2)copy latest uImage-v24.bin
<http://panicking.kicks-ass.org/download/uImage-v24.bin> onto the fat
aprtition and renam it to uImage-GTA02.bin
3)mount freerunner-cupcake-snapshot-v15.jffs2
<http://panicking.kicks-ass.org/download/freerunner-cupcake-snapshot-v15.jff
s2> locally and copy content to the ext3 partition
4) boot from msd-card

is this correct?

thx
