I would suggest that it be installed into /usr/local/bin as that's the usual 
place for locally installed software, as opposed to packaged software. It'll 
also avoid potential clashes if it gets packaged later.

To move it is simple, you can just do:  mv -v /usr/bin/adb /usr/local/bin/
