Try Michael Trimarchi's images from http://panicking.kick-ass.org/download/ Get the latest cupcake snapshot jffs2 + latest uImage-v*.bin, then flash with usual dfu-util command. You might also need to reflash Qi with latest version from official site (check out wiki.openmoko.org) to make it boot.
