No, I haven't heard anything. I have mirrored the Koolu repository locally and have also created a project on Gitorious to host the code: http://gitorious.org/android-on-freerunner/. You should be able to build the Koolu cupcake branch by intializing with:
repo init -u git://gitorious.org/android-on-freerunner/freerunner_platform_manifest.git -b cupcake I'm happy to accept patches, or grant commit privileges to regular contributors. I'd appreciate suggestions about where we go from here in order to build a community.
