Sorry I am a complete novice to software programming.. Can Android be implemented on different technology, besides mobile phones.. I am currently looking for open platform software, and an operating system, middleware and key apps, that can run on LCD Digital Touchscreen technology, and background hardware. I recently looked into software that Futuremark ( www.futuremark.com ) are benchmarking for graphics performance using OpenGL ES and DirectX APIs. Android seem to be quite similar, but more open for developers than Futuremark. Would really appreciate some help and guidance on this matter, thanks.
