I followed instructions on this page:

And when I issue the command:
repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git
I get the following error:
File "/home/bzimmerly/bin/repo", line 167
except OSError, e:
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
For the record, I'm using Python 3.0.
Thanks for any help provided.
Also, if this problem cannot be solved, does anyone know a URL where I
can download a tarball of the Android source? I know it's over 2 GB in
size, but I am on a T3 line, so I shouldn't have a problem downloading
a tarball that large.
