Here's my problem: I have an application on a Galaxy S WiFi 5 running Froyo. I want this to run without having to press the on switch. Connecting the USB doesn't seem to wake it up.
Is there a workaround? I have tried permanently jamming the power switch on, which starts it up but then it shut down. Might it be possible to modify the software to stop the shutdown?
