If the same USB multiplexer like the one in the Galaxy S Phones is
used you can just add a resistor to the usb pins and it will boot up.

I think 255K should work fine, but you can pick any from this list[1]
that has the second bit set, what is the boot up pink from the USB
multiplexer.
