Hello all,
I am working on connecting gsm modem to hawkboard.
I am using i-300 modem.
Compiled the source and ported into board.
Kernel has all support for usb mass storage, Hub, PPP.
I use usb hub to load filesystem and serial to usb convertor to connect the
modem.
After all setup, i have to start pppd to make connection.
The device must connect to either ttyUSB0 or ttyUSB1.
There is no such devices in target board after booting.
In my /dev folder i can see only tty1, tty2.....ttyS1,ttyS2.....no
ttyUSB0.... While connecting the same modem in host, the device is connected
in ttyUSB0.
How can i proceed further to connect GSM modem...Kindly say me any hint....
I am posting this more than twice. But no one is helping. Guide me to fix
it.
