What he suggests is like lock screen widgets in JellyBean. for
example, on my Nexus 4 I can take pictures/video with the camera, and
view what I've just taken in the gallery, but not see earlier pictures
without unlocking. if i exit the camera, the content is then protected
again. same mode of operation seems to make sense for a voice recorder
as well.

it seems like the galaxy s4 has this functionality?
