so as I understand it to date, there is still a manual requirement to
download a root certificate for PEAP enterprise wireless connectivity.

The lacking ability for the OS to automatically request to download the
cert from the NPS server, of which IOS, OSX and Windows platforms can,
creates a significantly bad end user experience, for enterprise and BYOD
devices.

I work for a high school currently implementing BYOD next year, of which
our wireless configurations is similar in most high schools across the
state, and many are adopting a BYOD strategy between now and 2015, and
I will not be supporting a manual setup for devices which cannot
automatically install the root cert for wireless connectivity based on user
credential login.

If android want to completely damage their market share by not supporting
zero touch enterprise wireless connecitivty, then they will completely miss
the BYOD boat, specificly in the education sector. Lets face it the
education sector is where the success of IT industries are born.

In addition, further development is also required in proxy development, to
support features such as wpad.dat automatic proxy config files and to apply
proxy to all applications and also store an authentication login for the
use of all proxy required services that request authentication.
