Hi, all

A confusion...

If I find certain code generation is not enough and want to extend it by
defining new stereotypes and writing new code generation templates.. It
seems I have two alternatives:

1.Extend Xdoclet first (say, new tags), then use AndroMDA cartridges to
generate these xdoclet tags in annotate java and coordinate with Xdoclet to
generate the final code.... OR

2. Extend AndroMDA directly through cartridges?? (new stereotypes,
extending, say, ejb cartridge by without going through extending Xdoclet)

What are the implications of these two ways?

... well I think that they are very clear... if you do it throught Xdoclet you will depend on them (or will need to extend it) and also the build process will take longer, if you handle it with Andromda you will have full control over the generated code....

BTW: Is there a way to generate Cactus/Junit testing cases (skeleton at least) following MDA using tools like AndroMDA..(modelling test cases in uml testing profile from OMG or a simpler version of testing profile... )

...was planning to create one but It will take time.... (I prefer to not give any dates for the moment...)

Carlos

Thanks.
