I don't like Maven because I don't like the way it organizes the project folders, i don't want to change the way my project is organized because it fits me well, maven is slow, i don't like jelly and neither does the original developer, and i don't want to learn to write maven build scripts. ant is simple and powerful, i feel more in control with it.
