Oh.  You have to DOUBLE CLICK on the association itself, and THEN click on the 
"..." next to the "Name" field ON BOTH ENDS and set it to public?



Sorry to sound dense here...



The "visibility" does NOT show up in the properties window in the lower left 
hand of the screen, so that is why I couldn't find it originally.  It wasn't 
until you said "open the specification" that led me to the help screen that 
showed me the option.



This seems like a LOT of work for a simple association.  Do you have to do this 
for EACH association that you create?  Is there not some way to default this 
behavior?
