(end of quote) As you discovered you need this dependency for compilation (because there will be hibernate related classes generated). Sorry for all these problems, unfortunately there were changes to the app generator which were not thoroughly tested before the release (I've fixed all these issues by the way in CVS). Can try upgrading once again to 3.1-RC1-SNAPSHOT?
