I am using hibernate 3. I tried setting hibernate.inheritance.strategy to union-subclass in the properties as you have suggested. But the files generated shows "joined-subclass".
Then I tried to set andromeda.hibernate.interitence to union-subclass under tagged values in the model. But I find that union-subclass is not available as an option in the list of values.
