My ant version is 1.6.5 and yes I'm using eclipse version 3.1 But the property you suggested does not solve the problem. I'm still getting the same error. It looks like Ant cannot parse the xml files because it expects a DOCTYPE, which isn't there. And because the parsing doesn't work it will not get to the andromda Xml validation property.
