Woulter, looks like a good approach which would be made easier with a well 
structured model comprised of independent packages.



This may not be the case for Safaa - particularly if the model is based on some 
of the XML financial services standardsi.e. SWIFT, FinXML, ACORD. From my brief 
look at some of these they seem to be monolithic and would require a fair bit 
of work to restructure - hence the problem of sucking it all up in one go. (hmm 
maybe a cartidge that takes DTD/XML Schema and converts to XMI might be of 
interest - maybe one day when I know enough  :) )



Safaa - am I right - what standards are you using? Maybe someone else has 
experience in this area (although I suspect not many have).



BTW - maybe we should separate the threads and discuss the issue of dealing 
with large models in the Modelling Patterns forum.
