The patches will be sent in three tranches: 1- linux-kexecboot (only) patches -> shouldn't break anything 2- linux-rp defconfig patches -> kernel size will be too big for updater.sh 3- major changes: kernel in /boot, fstab, (perhaps jffs2 no-headers*) 1 enables full-featured kexecboot kernels 2 allow kernels to boot from nand, CF, EXT3 3 avoid the pain of slipping kernel in /boot and editing fstab by hand *A first impression is a lot of users have had problems mounting/editing mtdblock2.
