Anyone have any words of wisdom on setting the BeagleBone for a static IP
using connman?
I need to write a script to provision our BeagleBones and by instinct
edited the /etc/networking/interfaces file...only to realize that didn't
work as connman is running on the BeagleBone.
Is there a way to change the settings in /var/lib/connman/settings so that
it will create a static IP ???
I see info that I can install connman-test which will provide a bunch of
files, but would prefer to edit ASCII files if possible so I can write a
script in Python that will update the BeagleBone so that it will boot with
a static IP.
Any thoughts?
Seems I should change the [Wired] section in the settings file, but I
can't seem to find what options are valid, this seems to be an area where
documentation is lacking.
I had thought I could update the uEnv.txt on the boot partition, update
/etc/networking/interfaces and I would be golden. I 'spose the first rule
of thumb is that when you think you're golden, you're really the color of
dirt...*sigh*
