If you have a wired ethernet card, that seems to work without problems. 
    Otherwise, download the files to another machine, and copy them to a 
cf or sd card (a card reader is very, very useful, and cheap).  You may 
need to add other libraries, but that is just the same process.

Mine works fine now.  I did start out with the wired interface, mostly 
because it is faster, but it did not take too much to get wifi working. 
  I still have not fussed enough with usb networking to get that 
working, maybe others can point the way on that.

I have, BTW, a 3100.
