Yes. Just now I tried with: export LC_ALL=ja_JP.utf8 export LANG=ja_JP.utf8 gpe-conf network
This is on Ångström built locally (but that shouldn't matter) on 20070520. However, I have no input methods installed yet and no translation for the gpe tools (if they exist). Gnumeric works too, and even starts with Kochi Gothic set as font (which is silly, because all I've got is DejaVu, Baekmuk and the Japanese IPA fonts, but it starts up with Arial on the POSIX locale). Maybe some localisation package I'm still missing is the troublemaker? My ipkg list_installed is here, if you want to compare: http://www.jeroenhoek.nl/Files/Angstrom/list_installed.txt ~ Jeroen On Wed, 2007-05-23 at 15:32 +0200, 白い熊 wrote: > Hi: > > I followed all your steps and it still doesn't seem to be working, or maybe > partially it works. > > I can run gpe-conf with LC_ALL set to en_GB.utf8, a progress.
