Unfortunately because of the bugs in ffmpeg/avcodec, the iwmmxt extensions are not actually used. This has been fixed in ffmpeg/avcodec upstream, and I have some patches for openembedded to submit soon, and this speeds things up even more, but even with the one from the feed 320x240 full screen video is no problem.
