I think most urgently it needs someone to get down and dirty with the kernel as its forever stuck at 2.6.17 (I think) until the drivers are brought upto date. And some of the driver need to be taught to suspend to cure the numerous "Suspend breaks my tosa" bugs reported. And some method to enable/disable wlan on an applet or some other such thing.
