It still works. Nothing has been changed for 2 years.

I shall try to save the exact message by logging
onto the Zaurus from another machine on my local network.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/etc$ nslookup astronomy.dk

/etc/resolv.conf:
search tele2.dk
nameserver 192.168.1.1
host.conf:
order hosts,bind
multi on

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/bt/etc$ ping au.dk
PING au.dk (130.225.9.11): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 130.225.9.11: icmp_seq=0 ttl=246 time=26.8 ms
64 bytes from 130.225.9.11: icmp_seq=1 ttl=246 time=28.0 ms
This is strange. I did try several external hosts without
success.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/bt/etc$ ping 192.168.1.1
PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=1.0 ms

PING astronomy.dk (83.72.33.52): 56 data bytes

64 bytes from 83.72.33.52: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.9 ms
The local gateway has always worked, though.
Let me try this one:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/bt/etc$ ping neptun.phys.au.dk
PING neptun.phys.au.dk (130.225.28.60): 56 data bytes

--- neptun.phys.au.dk ping statistics ---
6 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
But this machine is also blocked from mi other local machine.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ssh neptun.phys.au.dk
Password:
Last login: Sun Mar 2 21:46:49 2008 from 83.72.33.52.ip.tele2adsl.dk
Have a lot of fun...

I can actually log onto neptun.
But the problem started by not being
able to use the minimo browser.
It turns out that it works now!
I have no ide why it suddenly works.

Actually, I do not. The fine thing with Mandriva is that their
control center sets up a standard firewall plus dhcp server
that takes care of my local network so that I can concentrate
on using my machines (until something goes wrong).
I did reboot my gateway, but that did not do any good.
This was some weeks ago. I have no idea why it suddenly seems
to work now. I have done nothing, as far as I know...

Thank you, anyway.
