I was not accurate. It is valid for Zaurus SL-Cxx00. > > Simply run alsamixer, increase Bass, change Bass Boost and Bass Filter > > as you want, and all audio applications will use it. > Is that true for poodle as well? I'm looking at alsamixer right now and I do > not see a bass boost or bass filter control :( It seems that not. That codec has only de-emphasis filter. It is not what you want. If I remember correctly, xmms equalizer heavily depends on mp3 decoder, so it works only for mp3 file format. Back tou your original question: I am using natively compiled mpc+mpd (AFAIK bitbake recipes not yet exist). It works well and it is flexible, but mpd eats battery even if it is not playing anything, because it generates more than 100 wake-ups per second. ________________________________________________________________________ Stanislav Brabec http://www.penguin.cz/~utx/zaurus _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
