Good Day,

I've recently acquired a Panasonic Toughbook CF-08. For those unfamiliar, it is a thin client tablet PC (10.4" touchscreen LCD) running Windows CE 5. It is designed to run entirely from ROM/RAM and has no hard drive, has WiFi, Bluetooth and an SD slot and runs on a 312Mhz PXA270. The version of WinCE is also severely crippled to prevent any security issues. It comes with IE, Citrix ICA client, and RDP client. I've been successful in adding a VNC client and running HaRET. More specs can be found here http://www.panasonic.com.au/products/details.cfm?objectID=3750.

Now, what I really want is to run Linux from the SD card. Being able to run HaRET is a step in the right direction. But beyond that, I'm not sure what to try next. I've tried using at least one of the RamDISK versions of Angstrom, to no avail. So what I was hoping to get from someone on this list was suggestions on which version of Angstrom to try, how to properly configure the default.txt for HaRET, and potentially how to go about customizing a version of Angstrom for my platform.

If you require anything from me, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance!

-Moez
