My 2cents - I have rootfs on 4Gb SDHC card with Angstrom 2007.12 and it works
pretty well. Linux have SDHC support since kernel 2.6.21 and that's the
version used for hx4700 in Angstrom.
Though. it is true, WinMobile (even 5.0 I have) doesn't see SDHC on hx4700, 
so it's linux only card :)
