Bernhard Guillon:
Did you prefer to use X/Qt with blackbox or some other window manager?
AFAIR I was able to start X/Qt and then afterwards manually started a windowmanager (fvwm et al).
I would like to see a some session handling script which either automatically starts X/Qt when clicking an application icon or uses an existing session if present. Nice to have would be an option which terminates the X server if no X application is running or lets it stay until reboot. On the X side there must be a way to easily switch back to Opie (when in rootless mode). Optionally in .xinit or .xsession a window manager can be started if necessary.
This is my rough idea how it could work. Oliver _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list Angstrom-distro-users@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
