Hello,

tried to get angstrom work on a Fujitsu Siemens loox 420 pda.
Had contact with a developer of some kernel patches.
Tried to get it work with precompiled kernel and root file system.
Almost everything works, except screen is not shown correct. tried to
build a own kernel with patches from the person i have contacted before.
Kernel 2.6.21-hh20 compiles with arm linux gcc compiler on a debian
lenny x64 machine. but does not start angstrom distribution on my pda.
it seems to hang after the line "freeing unused kernel memory 108 k".
Now my questions:

The answer to all your questions is: use OpenEmbedded to compile your kernel. OE will make sure the right options get enabled and the right compiler gets used.

regards,

Koen
