I've had a bit of success - I have Wellenreiter running at last, after
nearly two years trying! This is not through any effort on my part,
but thanks to whoever recompiled it for Angstrom. I did have to use
the command-line installer, since the package manager doesn't provide
any meaningful feedback when it fails, and there were a couple of
libraries I had to load by hand before wellenreiter will work.
My next challenge (this weekend, probably) will be to get a web
browser working. A quick "ipkg install" of konqueror from the stable
feed gave me similar problems with unresolved references.
The mis-oriented cursor control is annoying, but I'm learning to live
with it. I wonder, is there a config file somewhere that defines
this, similar to keyboard mapping? Or is it "cooked in" to the ROM?
