Yes, the package manager UI definitely needs improvement. Something I haven't got around to looking at. It needs work for 2008.x anyway since Angstrom has moved to opkg, so I will eventually get to it. A bunch of people have fiddled around with the patches applied to both QtE and Opie including myself, and the result is that on some machines the cursor layout is broken. This is something that I was supposed to fix ages ago but I never got around to it, sorry about that - the main hurdle is that fixing it properly requires care not to break the devices where the rotation is already working fine. I have however acquired a few more devices since I last looked at the problem and I promise I will look into it again soon.
