After answering Chad regarding Package Manager, I realized that I was answering
the wrong question, since I was running an older version of Angstrom/Opie than
he is.

I used Narcissus to generate a tar.gz image of Opie (spitz) then untar'ed it at
/ on my CL-3200 which was running Opie 1.2.3, then rebooted (from the GUI). It
rebooted OK up to the Opie "Tap anywhere to continue" message, but it did not
respond to a screen tap. There was an arrow pointer on the screen, but it did
not follow the stylus at all. No keys did anything.

I did a reset and rebooted, this time the Angstrom splash screen came up, but
the progress bar did not move at all. There was considerable disk activity, so
I left it alone for a few minutes, and eventually the Angstrom splash screen
went away and I was left with a blank screen with a blinking cursor in the top
left corner.

I have now flashed back to Opie 1.2.3 (2007.12-R18 version) but I'd like to get
up to date.

Can anyone help me? I haven't been able to find much information in the Wiki,
and I've "groped" through the list archive without success (Is there any way to
search the list archive???)

Walt
