The code I provided in my last function already provides for an way to get 
the dates and hours updated based on the input of the user. 
If you adapt your service to to the actual fetching based on the parameter 
it receives, you are done there.

And looking into it, and decide for yourself, is the best thing you can do! 
Nobody knows your project like you do! Just make sure
you decision is based on facts, and not on believes! Personally I believe 
the simpler a program is, the better. Its better to look for things
to remove, then it is to keep on adding code!
