Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I already looked into a
resolve for my routers, however, I failed to figure out how I can prevent
my view from refreshing.
Essentially at the moment I have this link:
<a ng-click="filter('#new')">New</a>
Which works fine, but I also want to have a route for this, so I rather
just have my link like
<a href="/new">New</a>
And have it trigger the filter() method.
Hope that clears it up a bit.
