Hi Eric, That is the result of a really large min-height setting. the animation runs up to the point you set there, even outside the visual part. Set it as low as possible. The same goes for the other way around. The animation starts at the max-height, and works its way down, and becomes only visible when it is actually in view.
The greenSock solution does not expose this issue, but needs some extra (set and forget) code, and another dependency for your project.
