I am learning Angular and I have read some posts on its future. I can understand a need for a front-end framework and being client side of course Javascript fits this need.
Where will Angular be in a few years? Is it worth putting the time in to learn this (still not too sure if I will be hired to do this in a job situation). I'm sure this has come up before with people learning Angular, so I guess i'm coming to the same point. Laravel is actually fun to learn..Angular is bit of a pain. Its why jquery was invented for and the reason why javascript nearly died in the ass. I can understand the extra complexities that Jq does not provide but its still a verbose way of writing in a way I still cannot fully understand. I really like json and objects with JS. How is this going to merge again into another framework(if it will)? Should I wait for the next framework if i'm not going to be employed as an Angular developer, do I invest the time or go with something like laravel which is a bit more fun? I'm more of a front end person as I am also a Graphic Designer, so would Angular suit me better? Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AngularJS" group.
