Hi Lynn,

Your application seems a good fit for Angular. As you are pretty new, I 
would recommend giving Angular a spin. It does need typescript, so if 
that's too much for you to chew off, have a look at Angular1. 
The current version of angular is a bit harder to set up a new project, but 
actually better suited( not to mention more future orientated). Downside. 
it has even a more steep learning curve as Angular1. And it requires 
tooling.

Read your way trough the tutorials for angular 
<https://angular.io/docs/ts/latest/quickstart.html> and angular1 
<https://docs.angularjs.org/tutorial>, and decide what matches you better.
