IMO the hard parts are:

1. Not giving in to the feature creep (p3)
2. Know when to use it (try, assume any Bad Option is ours unless
   problem-details tells us otherwise, retry with spelled out path?)

And there's a caveat that when combined with query parameters, the
server needs to go over the options once more (but that's mainly
relevant for .well-known/core I think).
