I think the most concrete numbers we have come from EDHOC design where
ietf-lake-reqs -- but apparently the added bytes didn't matter too much
in message 1 (given that message 2 is the largest one in symmetrical
scenarios).

EDHOC already has a dedicated option that streamlines later messages
(RFC9668), which (if need arises) could be extended to also enhance
message 1.

Therefore, EDHOC probably doesn't work as the prime use case for
.well-known optimization.
