My issue regards addressing every joint independently;
so the pattern matching possibilities don't help.

precisely what i've been doing, and was hoping to stop doing!
only suggested it because the layer structure and OSC's hierarchic messaging
structure match so well.
and i'm getting better and better at reusing existing bone/joint structure
with varying image textures so
all my nmt's end up with the same joint names (cuz i start with the same
file), unless i rename all;

was worth a try :)
