The Apache OpenWhisk project is pleased to announce the release of Apache OpenWhisk Runtime for PHP version 1.16.0.
Apache OpenWhisk is an open source, distributed Serverless platform that executes functions (fx) in response to events at any scale. OpenWhisk manages the infrastructure, servers and scaling using Docker containers allowing focus on building amazing and efficient applications. The key feature of the 1.16.0 release of the PHP runtime is that it now supports the newly released version 8.0 of PHP.
