Hey folks,

TL;DR: We're gonna be hosting Hacker Jeopardy on Friday, June 6. Tickets
are $5 in advance from Richard Rodd or at the SkullSpace meeting, or you
can email me directly to be put on the list to pay at the door. We need
people to work the door and prizes. Read more below!

(Note: This event is 18+)

*What's Hacker Jeopardy?*

Hacker Jeopardy is a play off a well-known TV gameshow, with two major
differences: first, the questions are all geek related (computers, sci fi,
anime, math, physics, etc); second, there's more alcohol. *A lot* more
alcohol!

Everybody who comes is eligible to participate (if you choose to). We'll be
drawing to see who plays in each round!

Btw, this is a fundraiser for SkullSpace Winnipeg. All proceeds to go
SkullSpace!

*When/where?*

It's going to be at Ralph Brown Community Centre, 460 Andrews St, Winnipeg,
MB.

It's on *Friday, June 6, 2014*. We're gonna open doors around *9:00pm*, and
have the first round at 10:00.

*How do I get tickets?*

Tickets are available from Richard Rodd at SkullSpace. Hopefully some
others will grab some to distribute as well. They're *$5* each. They'll be
available at the Tuesday SkullSpace meetings as well, so stop by SkullSpace
(374 Donald St) between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday to get one!

Be sure to get tickets in advance, because *we cannot sell tickets at the
door*. If you want to go but you aren't able to get your ticket in advance,
please *email me directly *([email protected]) and I'll make sure
you're on The List. If you're on The List, you can get tickets at the door.

*How can I help?*

I'm glad you asked! We need a couple volunteers, please let me know if
you're interested:

- I need 2-3 people to sit at the door and take tickets
- I need a couple people to either bring or make food
- I need some prizes; I'd like to have 3 prizes worth $20 - $40, and one
prize worth $50 - $100. If you work somewhere that can *donate* cool geeky
stuff, let me know! (We aren't a charity, but we will definitely trade you
for some advertising)

*I have a question!*

Email me directly! [email protected]. Or talk to Richard Rodd or Nathan
Wild in person.

Ron
