The new OTRS 2.3. Windows Installer otrs4win 2.0.0 beta1
has been completed and is now ready for download.
During the beta release cycle, the current Windows Installer
provided as a workaround announced Oct. 15th 2008 will be still
available.
STABLE RELEASE:

* planned to be published Dec 19th 2008
ENHANCEMENTS:
=============
* New added installer components are:
- Apache 2.2.10
- MySQL 5.10.0.3
- Strawberry Perl 5.0.67
- CRONw 2.0
The new OTRS Windows installer:
* supports Microsoft® Windows® 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 platforms
* works with 32 Bit and 64 Bit architectures
* works with Vista's UAC (User Account Control)
* provide a modern graphical user interface (with full Vista
support)
* is much faster than the old Windows Installer
BUGFIXES:

* Bug #2803 - Installer crashed if installation path contained
any blanks.
