Folks, the ACFUG meeting will indeed take place as usual the first Wednesday,
with that being this coming Wednesday, July 5th. Please pardon the informality
of this announcement, but in the interest of time (and with apologies due to
the hubbub of CFUnited), I wanted to offer it ASAP without the special
formatting.

There will topics will be a discussion by Eric Jones of his company's CF-based
open source Site Mgt/CMS tool, and a review of CFUnited with a panel/open
discussion by those who attended sharing all the goodness and news from the big
event.

i3SiteTools Spotlight, by Eric Jones, Digital Positions
----------------------------------------------------------------

i3SiteTools is a CFML-based site management system built by Buckhead-based web
development firm, Digital Positions Inc. The application has been a closed
source and non-retail product for the past 5 years during which time it has
been through four major versions and is now testing the open source waters.

Eric will be presenting the tool to us both to open it for contributions from
those who may be interested in getting involved, and to gather feedback from
others on how they feel about it.

Unlike many Site Management and CMS systems, i3SiteTools was written by
developers for developers, always striving to "trim the fat" in the time it
takes to build a web site with content management tools. This developer-focused
foundation coupled with a sophisticated set of user-friendly tools has been
successfully deployed to over 100 companies and is constantly being enhanced
with every new install.

Some of the key features i3SiteTools boasts are:

    * Easy data management and form creation tools
    * Simple templating system
    * "Live Edit" WYSIWYG for managing content contextually in the site
    * Content versioning and workflow
    * Search Engine Friendly URLs, meta data management
    * Site Planning and Prototyping system
    * Built in error handling
    * Easy customization
    * High extensibility
