business and government enterprises.  Our mission is to simplify the
complexity of deploying and maintaining communication networks for our
customers and enable them to fully realize the cost and productivity
benefits that new communications technology can bring to their operations.

 

Basic Function:

The Field Network Engineer is responsible for all networking integration
services 3-dB Networks offers. Duties will include but not be limited to
network design, wireless site surveys, installation of wired and wireless
networking devices as well as ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of
customer networks.

 

Responsibilities:

.         Perform maintenance/installation of indoor & outdoor wireless &
wired LAN, WAN systems

.         Perform work on customer premises in a professional and
aesthetically pleasing manner

.         Maintain positive image of 3-dB Networks and its affiliates

.         Continually improve knowledge of equipment and technologies used
by 3-dB Networks

.         Assist in design of customer networks including, network
architecture, equipment specification, and addressing plan

 

Qualifications:

.         A minimum of three years of related work experience is required

.         Good working knowledge of switched and routed networks and
associated components

.         Knowledge of broadband wireless systems, including licensed
microwave, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and other proprietary systems

.         Network+, Security+, CWNA certifications are a plus

.         Formal education in networking or electrical engineering is a plus

.         Ability to work on a team with minimal direction and supervision

 

Skill Requirements:

.         Ability to lift 75lbs.

.         Excellent interpersonal communication skills

.         Ability to safely work from telecommunications towers at heights
up to 200'

.         Safe driving record and valid driver's license

.         Some out-of-State travel required

 

Compensation:

Salary plus bonus based on experience
